Worst booking experience ever.

We had a horrible experience in booking. Booking.com confirmed the booking, but when contacted the property, which operates via a call centre in Mumbai was horrible. They mentioned that the property is sold out. Even after showing the confirmation mail and screenshot they did not honour the booking. Even booking.com tried to intervene and help but they also could not reach the host. I spent almost the whole day before travel to sort it out as other properties became expensive or sold out. Booking.com later gave us an option to book a different property and even paid the cost difference. Im surprised that booking.com still lists this property, so book them at your own risk.
