  I rarely leave negative reviews, but I do not believe the way this situation was handled was acceptable. Upon arrival, I discovered that a large festival was taking place immediately next to the accommodation. There were large numbers of festival-goers, campers and motorhomes around and directly in front of the property, and the music continued well into the night. According to the official festival programme, DJ sets continued until approximately 4:00 a.m. At no point before my stay was I informed about the festival or the significant disturbance that could reasonably be expected. Had I known this in advance, I would never have booked this accommodation. I reported the situation immediately upon arrival and did not stay overnight at the property. As a result, I had to find alternative accommodation myself at the very last minute. The accommodation then stated in writing that they would retain €100 and refund the remainder. I did not agree to this either, as I do not believe I should bear a financial loss because important information was not disclosed before booking. In the end, however, €180 was withheld: €100 for a night I did not stay and €80 in cleaning costs, despite the fact that I did not stay at the property. Booking.com later compensated the €80 by providing Booking.com Wallet Credit — it was not refunded to my original payment method. What disappointed me most was the way the complaint was handled afterwards. The accommodation and Booking.com referred me back and forth regarding responsibility. Despite my extensive communication and the evidence available — including photos and videos of the situation, the official festival programme and the written communication regarding the €100 charge — I eventually received no response at all to my final message. Almost two months have now passed. Problems can always occur. For me, however, the quality of an accommodation is also reflected in how problems are dealt with when they arise.   Da non perdere

  Appartamento ubicato al piano terra di un piccolo condominio in riva al mare : per andare in spiaggia ci sono 5 scalini. E che spiaggia stupenda ! Su un golfo che ha praticamente sempre il mare tranquillo ed è balneabile con media e alta marea. L' appartamento è ben ridossato dai venti del settore nord , è graziosamente arredato , confortevole, pulito . La cucina è ben attrezzata, il letto molto comodo. È composto da cucina/soggiorno, 1 locale bagno, 1.camera.matrimoniale , un' altra con 2 letti gemelli, un terrazzino abitabile affacciato sul giardino condominiale. Il centro paese di El Cotillo ( dotato di tutti servizi ) si trova a circa km..1 e mezzo .
