Wonderful, private accommodation in a charming village
An excellent base for exporing this part of the Pyrenees and even though we were touring in classic cars we made a day to explore the local area with a walk around the local villages and woods which was idyllic. The property was fantastic - ideal for four friends and we made good use of the kitchen for home cooked meals and the room downstairs to play pool, drink and chill in the evening. The owner was very friendly as were the other villagers who attentively came out to move their cars to help us move ours. All in all this stay was one of the highlights of our holiday and I hope to return someday.
Maybe a few basics in the kitchen that pass from guest to guest like olive oil and definitely some coffee as it's a long way to a store in the morning if you've forgotten to buy some for your arrival. You definitely need to plan to buy your provisions and the evening meal and breakfast before arrival to allow for this remoteness. The restaurant next door was closed on our day of arrival so definitely check on this before you arrive. Luckily we'd planned ahead so the only thing we missed was the oil and coffee.

El patio de la casa con barbacoa.
La tercera habitación está en un altillo del salón sin ventana, la cama con un colchón antiguo y cuando hace calor muy difícil dormir. La instalación eléctrica de la casa fallaba y saltaban los plomos, a cualquier hora. Por la noche a las cinco de la mañana saltaron dos noches de las cuatro que estuvimos y te despierta el ventilador de techo pues se enciende al despertarte. La ubicación de la casa es en un pueblo, Peremea , al que has de llegar por una carretera de curvas que se hace pesada y en el pueblo no hay nada, literalmente hablando, asi que ante cualquier necesidad tienes que bajar a Gerri de la Sal a comprar, y como comentaba son 15 minutos de carretera muy estrecha con muchas curvas. La ubicación diría que no es adecuada. Muy aislada de todo.
