    Kann man mit gutem Gewissen empfehlen

    Sehr freundliches und hilfsbereites Personal, Zimmer war in der 1. Etage, sehr ruhig und gute Matratze. Frühstück ließ keine Wünsche offen. Parkhaus ist nebenan und kostet 10.-€ pro Tag, Fußgängerzone gleich um die Ecke

    Good hotel but disappointing recent reduction in service

    The location is brilliant, right in the centre of town. The staff are pleasant, friendly and helpful. The rooms are basic but comfortable.

    We have been staying at this hotel regularly for 4 years, the previous stay being in February 2026. Since that stay, the hotel has changed a lot and has down-graded itself. The bar is now permanently closed, there is no reception after 21:00 and the grand main entrance is then locked and the whole bar lounge area is shut off. So after 21:00, residents must enter the hotel via a narrow back-door service entrance/fire exit where the corridor is quite often reduced to half-width by a long line of laundry trolleys. Because the reception/bar area is inaccessible after 21:00, there are no hot drinks, no alcoholic or soft drinks available and no communal area for groups to relax and socialise. I have never been to a hotel where the only drink available after 21:00 is tap water! If the management wish to continue with this reduced level of staffing & service, I think there need to be tea/coffee-making facilities provided in the bedrooms and accessible vending machines for cold drinks & snacks.

    Freundliches Personal, gutes Frühstück, sauberes Zimmer und sehr gute Betten

    Für die Anfahrt im Auto würde ich ein Navi empfehlen, ein Wirrwarr von Einbahnstraßen, Fußgängerüberwegen, Fußgängerzonen, Fahrradwegen/Spuren usw., dafür kann das Hotel natürlich nichts! Mit Navi war das Finden vom Hotel kein Problem und auch ein Stellplatz im nächsten Parkhaus war preiswert zubuchbar.
