    Overall we would recommend this villa if you have a car or don’t mind walking 20 minutes by road, as it was very clean,

    It was a lovely, very clean villa in a lovely part of Crete. The pool was amazing for the kids and was very clean. The sunbeds were great too. There were lots of helpful touches such as bikes, washing machine tablets, essentials in the fridge, bath and pool towels etc. The staff were really helpful when we asked for any information. The villa is quite compact but comfortable and well set out.

    It was a 20 minute walk to the nearest shop in Almyrida which could be tricky with children in the heat and given that the roads have no pavements. Carrying bottled water back up the hill could be a challenge too. It was much easier when we got cars to drive into the centre and surrounding areas, though it is very busy and can be hard to find parking spaces. The only thing about the villa itself I would improve was the outdoor seating area as it was surrounded by bushes with really loud insects and we felt we were getting bitten when sitting there so there wasn’t really anywhere comfortable to sit outside at night. There was also a stray cat which kept trying to get into the villa but it caused no harm.

    Superb

    The villa's air conditioning was amazing and the sunset view from the pool area was also great. Inside all the necessary utilities in the kitchen/bathroom. The Villa was quite clean and we had a clean-up after 4 days of stay. Big grill with fish grill accessories was also a plus.

    The pool area could be bigger. The AC unit is right next to the lounge area and sometimes the noise was a bit annoying. Nothing you cannot cover with a wireless speaker, though.

    High quality villa in a superb location

    The villa was of a high standard in a lovely location. Pool size was good. Good facilities inside. Excellent hosts who were very attentive.

    Some sunbeds were broken and therefore couldn’t be used / only stayed in one position. No toaster Kitchen very small for the number of people.
