Not impressed with the property or the misleading photo's.
The location was good and the pool was nice
The place certainly wasn't "Elegant". It might have been some time ago, when the photo's were taken, but it's not now. We had family with us and their take on it was "Rustic", for which read old, run down and in places quite worn. A kitchen cupboard door was hanging off and the kickboard pushed under the cupboard. There were just three mis-matched cups in the kitchen when we arrived. The rooms were very dark, not the bright airy rooms in the photo's. There were no wardrobes in the bedrooms, our son and his partner lived out of suitcases, we used the beds in a spare room to unpack our clothes. We saw a rat by the pool and my son saw a cockroach in the kitchen. When I spoke to the host, she was clearly aware there was a rat problem. The grass covered garden in the photo's is a dead wasteland, completely unusable and dangerous for children. There were broken, sharp, floor tiles through the property, we were on edge the whole time with our 22 month grand-daughter running around. The Wi-fi only worked if you stood within 5 feet of the router and was certainly not "throughout the property". All in all, we were quite disappointed, we paid a lot of money for "Elegant", we didn't want "Rustic".

Exceptional Stay in a Stunning Vila
Everything was amazing. The hosts were absolutely incredibly as we had lots of changes and requests and they were extremely accommodating. The place had everything you needed and the photos don't do it justice. The space was very clean and there were lots of communal areas for socialising. The pool was great. We couldn't have asked for a better stay. The location is great, only 10 minutes into Vilamoura marina and a 10 minute walk to the nearest SPAR shop. We would love to stay again.
The only downside was no air-con but it really wasn't too bad as the house was quite cool anyway and they provided fans.
