Great location, free parking and real value in central Budapest
You can't ask for much better in Budapest than Dob street, and the value for money was still excellent. A big bonus: a very convenient parking space at no extra charge, with an elevator straight up to our floor, which made unloading with kids easy. The apartment was spotless and nicely set up. The next morning we picked up a few things from the bakery nearby for a relaxed family breakfast before checking out.
The only small thing: the apartment faces the inner courtyard, so it's mostly quiet at night, but we did hear a group partying on a terrace for a while. It died down quickly and didn't spoil the stay.

Nice stay, but the emails are annoying harassment.
Very warm welcome from the lady on Reception. The apartment was exactly as advertised, with a spacious living area and separate bedroom. The bed was against a wall, so one person had to get on from the end. The complex was very quiet, despite being in the 'party' area. Lots of places to eat in the area. Free parking was the reason we chose the accommodation, which was fine.
The apartment was overheated, but leaving the doors open cooled it down after the first day (in October!). The bathroom was hot, but not a real problem. The real issue was the deluge of emails from the property, saying to check in, even though we had. Confusing descriptions (I'd booked two apartments, was never sure which was which in the emails), several asking us to load an app, etc, etc. It felt like harassment. In the end, I stopped reading them. You can just check in at the apartment. Then came an invoice. We had already paid Booking.com, so ignored it, but it was totally unwarranted and might lead some to pay twice.

Bestens ausgestattet und mit zwei Dachterrassen konnten wir es nicht besser erwischen.
Wir haben das Sky Präsidenten-Penthouse gebucht. Ein Traum im 7. Stock, wir haben uns bei der Abreise mit schwerem Herzen von der tollen Wohnung getrennt. Das Auto haben wir in der Tiefgarage abgestellt und haben alle Sehenswürdigkeiten zu Fuß erreicht. Die Wohnung befindet sich in einem sehr lebhaften Viertel, Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und Gaststätten befinden sich direkt vor der Haustüre.
Ein Eimer Farbe, neue Armaturen im Bad und neue Silikonfugen können manchmal Wunder bewirken :)
