Super great boutique hotel in the heart of Atlanta!
I loved the Ellis Hotel. It was in a great location in downtown Atlanta, walking distance from great restaurants as well as museum triangle. Very easy to reach from the airport with a Marta station adjacent to the hotel. The staff was extremely helpful including printing some documents for me that I urgently needed to sign. The coffee shop/bar in the lobby was really fantastic with super friendly staff both morning and night. We were even treated to complimentary coffee one morning! Further, the price was well below the more major hotels just a block or two away yet the quality was just as good with a more personal and warm welcome. I don't hesitate to recommend this hotel.
I have no complaints about this hotel. Some might think the rooms are small but it's a city hotel in a renovated, historic building. I find that charming and prefer to stay somewhere with character over a place that is just like a million hotels the world over.

Amazing experience, served it’s purpose
Stayed at the hotel because of its long history. My youngest daughter and I wanted to complete a small scale paranormal investigation. We brought a spirit chat box and open minds. 309 was VERY fruitful! 8th floor was recommended, received info that was very relevant to where we were at in the hotel. Wasn’t as much activity as we thought but the 3rd floor was fantastic.
Parking is a challenge even with valet
