  Elvington House

  We had a fantastic stay at Elvington House and couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay while visiting Whitby. From the moment we arrived, everything was absolutely perfect. The property is beautifully presented, comfortable, spotlessly clean and has everything you could possibly need for a relaxing stay. It really felt like a home away from home. The location is excellent too — peaceful and convenient, with Whitby and all its attractions within easy reach. There’s also a very handy public car park just a short walk away, which made things really convenient for us. And if you fancy a proper fish and chip supper, there’s an excellent fish and chip shop close by too! After a day exploring the area, it was lovely to come back to such a comfortable and welcoming property. The attention to detail really made a difference and the whole experience was first class. We would have no hesitation whatsoever in recommending Elvington House and would happily stay here again. A huge thank you to the hosts for making our stay so enjoyable. We absolutely loved it!

  Nothing, although the stairs over 3 floors may be an issue for someone with limited mobility.

  Everything! Such a cosy yet discuss cottage. Special treat was the hamlet on arrival!
