Good location, but not really a hotel.
The room was comfortable and clean
You enter the suites through a grungy entryway. The elevator is very small and very unattractive. The breakfast is very modest. The floor with the rooms is very nice, but no lobby. The staff is very friendly and helpful.

I have been using Bookings.com for many years, it is always my first go to when booking my hotels. I am writing to express my disappointment with our stay at ELYS SUITES in Sorrento, Italy. The lift was not working during our stay, which caused considerable inconvenience and detracted from our enjoyment of the visit. We were there solely to attend a wedding at Villa Astor. A working lift is important at a facility, not simply an optional convenience. When booking accommodation through your website, I expect to be able to rely on the facilities offered. I even cancelled the first hotel that I chose because upon further studying that location, it did not have an elevator. The friends that we were traveling with Ellen & Mark Richmond. Mr Richmond could not even walk up the stairs without having to stop and rest (he actually has a heart condition). Also the stairs we had to climb were FILTHY This experience has left me so disappointed. The staff at the location were absolutely lovely. The staff offered that we could have a full refund but we would have to leave and find another hotel. After traveling from American we were dead on our feet. The lady even offered us the use of their other hotel’s facilities but as I said earlier we were in Sorrento to attend a wedding and our activities were completely spoken for (the use of a swimming pool at another location was no treat for us. I would appreciate a written response explaining how you intend to address this complaint and whether you will offer any compensation for the inconvenience. Yours sincerely Susan Polster
