Check and make sure nothing is clogged or not working before settling in
The location.
My showerhead standing water because I checked in the room close to midnight by myself I didn’t feel comfortable having someone to come and check the room and when I’m informed them in the morning, they were too busy, checking people out that no one really wanted to trust my concern so I had to email corporate.

Lovely staff but areas for improvement.
The complimentary drink/snack reception in the evening was a lovely touch.
The sofa bed in the suite was the most uncomfortable nights sleep I’ve had in my entire life and I’ve slept in the desert in Afghanistan. The pool room was not warm enough. The standard of the meals served in the bar was average.

The room was nice but the problems noted above made for a frustrating stay.

Took 1/2 hour to check-in with only 5 people ahead of us. The first night came back from dinner, and there was absolutely NO PARKING. Myself and at least 5-7 cars drove around for 10 minutes until we got lucky because someone was leaving. On check out morning, it was raining and pulled car up to entrance to load up under cover only to have 6 cars parked there with no one moving for 10 minutes while my wife waited for me to get near the entrance.
