The overall cleanliness was very poor: there were hairs left on the sink, the kitchen counter was dirty and sticky, the floor had not been vacuumed or washed, and there was no coffee machine available. Between the wardrobes we even found broken appliances (a kettle, a coffee machine and other items) that clearly don’t belong there. On top of the kitchen cupboards, there were many dishes covered in dust. The towels were worn out, and the bed covers didn’t seem freshly washed. Some rooms were also very different from how they are presented online. This should be mentioned, because it’s not fair to rent the villa at one price when the quality of the rooms and bathrooms varies so much. Two of the bathrooms, in particular, were in a very poor condition, impossible to describe in a polite way. Although we were enthusiastic at the beginning, these issues made the experience disappointing. On top of that, the pool was unusable, filled only halfway with water. Jose told us it was due to the previous guests, but this was a major discomfort for us, since the pool was one of the main reasons we booked this accommodation. Given all of the above, we strongly feel that improvements are urgently needed, especially with cleaning and maintenance. I trust you will review the photos I’ve attached and consider an appropriate solution — hopefully including a refund.
