    The hotel is located in the historic center; we got around entirely on foot, so the location was very convenient for us. The staff were very friendly. Breakfast was simple but always tasty. We aren't very picky eaters, so it suited us just fine.

    I would have given this hotel a 10, but there is one significant drawback: the soundproofing is terrible. Initially, we checked into an economy-class room - my mistake, as I hadn't noticed the "economy" designation. While one could overlook the room's various flaws (such as a bathroom door that wouldn't close and the lack of even basic disposable slippers), the real issue is that the economy rooms are located in the basement. Every night, you can hear cars driving by and groups of people returning home after a night out (I’ve attached a photo). In the morning, you’ll be woken up by noise from the kitchen, as the room is situated right next to it. We brought this to the staff's attention, and they moved us to a better room. The windows there faced an inner courtyard, so we stopped waking up during the night. However, the soundproofing issues persisted; we could hear our neighbors, their conversations, the ventilation in the adjacent bathroom, and so on. In short, there was absolutely no privacy. If you are a very heavy sleeper and these kinds of things don't bother you, then this hotel might be a suitable choice for you.
