    Do NOT rent Penthouse Condo 1202!

    We love Puerto Penasco and try to stay at a different beach everytime we come to visit friends and family, celebrate an occasion and enjoy the beach, the food and the activities! Everyone is always so nice and we meet new friends everytime we come!

    We were so excited to find a property in Puerto Penasco that had 4 full sized bedrooms and each had their own bathrooms for one of our many trips to the area! They also advertised a wellness spa, gym, lazy river, water slides and splash pad for the grandkids! But it turned out to be the worst trip ever! I know many of the condos are owned by private citizens and I'm really hoping this isn't the "standard" of the property owners themselves and the owners are restricted from renting this unit to anyone until the repairs have been made. The nightmare started immediately! The wifi and televisions didn't work, the toilet in the master bedroom didn't flush at all, the dryer took 5 cycles to dry any size load of laundry, the refrigerator leaked water , the ceiling leaked and paint pieces were falling from a corner in the kitchen, the oven door doesn't close taking 2 hours to cook a frozen pizza, the jacuzzi tub in the second master doesn't work and the water still hadn't drained 5 days later, the shower had no water pressure and wouldn't drain, the toilet in the last bedroom was full of feces and clogged and the shower wouldnt drain. We had maintenance in our condo every single morning we were there trying to fix one thing or another so kudos to the maintenance team for trying but they had to pull the refrigerator into the living room to have enough space to work on it and for that reason we had to keep my 20 month old grandson in a bedroom for over an hour so he didn't get in the way or get hurt! They thought they fixed it but upon returning that night the kitchen was again flooded. They also showed us how to prop a mop handle under the oven door to hold the heat in to be able to cook. They were also able to do something to the dryer so it took maybe 3 cycles to dry compared to 5. They were able to replace the shower head that was rusted shut so 8 adults were now able to share 2 working toilets and 2 working showers.
