    Narva è un posto unico: l'ultima città dell'Unione Europea, con il castello di Hermann su una sponda del fiume e la fortezza russa di Ivangorod sull'altra, così vicina che sembra di toccarla. Dormire in un appartamento dentro un palazzo dell'epoca sovietica ci ha fatto vivere questa città per quello che è davvero, non come turisti di passaggio. L'appartamento è molto bello, pulito, curato in ogni dettaglio, insomma perfetto. Sul retro c'è un parcheggio gratuito e vicino ci sono supermercati aperti fino a tardi, anche la domenica. La zona è sicura e tranquilla. La sera abbiamo camminato fino al castello e al lungofiume, con il confine davanti agli occhi: un'emozione che non dimenticheremo. Un consiglio per chi arriva: il portone principale non si apre col codice ma con la calamita del portachiavi. Noi ci abbiamo messo 20 minuti, e l'aiuto di alcuni passanti gentilissimi, per capirlo! Lo consiglio vivamente.
