  Loved the facilities, location and ease of use. It was perfect for our MTB stay.

  The owner/ host was quite rude and accusatory to us after we left, accusing us of stealing or breaking a lamp that we genuinely never saw, and stating that some blood on a sheet had ruined it and was going to require replacing (it was in the bed of my 14 year old who had had a blood nose in the night but had forgotten to mention it in the morning). Really disappointing attitude meaning we actually wouldn't want to come back, sadly.

  Perfect for family break

  Great location. The outside bath and fire pit was fun. Lots of space for everyone. Well stocked with supplies. Great communication with host.

  Blinds on back windows for warmth.

  Comfortable option when travelling with pets.

  Excellent to have enough room for six adults plus 3 fur babies. Comfortable beds with excellent blackout curtains. Comfortable lounge and dining area with plenty of seating and well heated. Kitchen is stocked with everything you need, as well as pet bowls if required. Handy to have a laundry if needed. Back decking would be great in warmer weather and has a nice outlook. Enough driveway for 3 cars to be off the street and behind a closed gate overnight. Nice big back yard. Front yard nice and secure when gates closed. Location good as far as accessibility to everything via car or reasonable walk to main street.

  Bathroom is a little basic. For instance a soap holder or small shelf in the shower would be great when using your own products. Backyard fencing wasn't really in good enough condition in parts. Meant we couldn't let our big dog off leash. House is very close to railway line which means the midnight train was very close when it sounded its horn at the crossing. Didn't worry us as we were up late.
