Relaxing in beautiful surroundings, art, nature, good food
Breathtaking views from the room. More a suite than a room, spacious and beautifully decorated. We heard that the owner was a former director of a museum and you could tell by the taste in art which the hotel was decorated with. The lobby was breathtaking! The staff was so friendly and helpful. Thank you for your joyful service and the amazing sake recommendations, Shibuya San! Dining was in a private room which made the experience feel even more special. Thank you for a VIP treatment on a weekend :)

内外、中規模改修をした際には、また行って見たいです。
全体的な雰囲気は良かったです、露天風呂、内風呂は最高でした。また、お世話をして頂いた、中居さんは最高のおもてなしをして頂き、感謝です。
窓から川の景観を楽しむ際、目に入るスチール手すりのサビ、ひさしのゴミ等に気を使って欲しい。また、窓側のテーブルが老朽化し、不衛生に感じる、すぐにでも交換して欲しい。

Accueil chaleureux, généreux et cérémonial. Très original ! Qualité des onsens, vue sur la rivière et la nature. Séjour en kimono. Repas du soir extrêmement copieux et authentique. Petit déjeuner bien complet aussi.

A slice of onsen history with incredible service
The staff were amazing and the service was top notch, everything was done for us. Great onsen, great food.
This is an older Ryokan with a 40s-60s aesthetic. It is well maintained but not modern.
