  The only positive aspect of this property was its location, which was very convenient.

  This was one of the worst accommodation experiences I have ever had. The apartment had several maintenance issues. Most of the electrical outlets were loose and did not work properly, which is especially inconvenient if you are traveling from another country. The dishes were dirty upon arrival, the air conditioner did not work properly, the bathroom window could not be closed, and the bathroom door would not stay in place and kept opening by itself. I had already read about some of these issues in previous reviews, so I decided to overlook them because of the price and the excellent location. The real problem happened during check-out. I had already left for the airport while my sister stayed at the apartment. Since I was on a flight, I could not answer my phone. At around 10:20 a.m., before the official check-out time, the host came to the apartment and told my sister that she had to leave immediately. I found this inappropriate, as hosts should not enter or pressure guests before the official check-out time. My sister left some dirty dishes. I apologized and explained that she mistakenly thought cleaning was included. The host told me that the cleaning service charged R$150 for cleaning the apartment. As a goodwill gesture, I offered to pay R$75. However, I made it clear that I would only make any payment through Booking, not via PIX, because I no longer trusted the host and wanted everything to be handled through the platform. She refused, insisted that I pay her directly via PIX, and demanded R$100 instead of the R$75 I had offered. After that, the situation escalated. The host falsely claimed that there was toilet paper spread all over the apartment, even though the photos she sent clearly did not support that accusation. She then falsely claimed that we had checked out after the official check-out time and demanded R$300 for an additional day.
