Lovely, peaceful accommodation, equally lovely hosts, highly recommend.
Steph and Mark's place was really lovely. It was tranquil, very clean and comfortable (lovely soft cotton sheets) and extremely well equipped. The food goodies that were there for our arrival were both considerate and generous (local shortbread biscuits, local apple juice, bread, milk, eggs, Kettle Crisps, butter, as well as tea and coffee supplies), all of which was really appreciated. The beds were very comfortable. (Entirely my responsibility when booking, but the main bedroom bed was too short for my husband - he's 6'4". We usually we look for an open ended bed for him, rather than one with a footend and thought this would be OK, but this is absolutely 100% on us). Having two bathrooms was really handy (the shower's in the downstairs one). The lounge is well-equipped with a smart TV, plenty of DVDs and an L-shaped sofa and chair, so plenty of seating. The kitchen appliances are good quality, not just cheap and cheerful ones for rentals. The Bosch washing machine has a choice 15m or 30m quick cycles which was really helpful as we prefer to travel light and just freshen up our clothes with a quick wash, whilst away. We were travelling around Norfolk and Suffolk during our 5 night stay and the accommodation was really well positioned as a pivoting point for both areas. Communication with Mark and Steph was great - friendly, warm and very helpful. There's also lots of local and accommodation information in folders in the property. Everything was very clean and the kitchen was well equipped with just about everything you'd need (perhaps just a pizza wheel is the only thing we could have done with, although that could be just us not looking properly!) We even saw a very small deer in a neighbour's front garden as we were returning one evening, which was a real treat too!
The shower pressure wasn't quite as strong as ideal, but that's only because two of us have thick, long, hair. That's to be expected though, as it's an electric shower and we appreciate it makes sense for that type of shower to be fitted and for just normal showering, or not such long hair, the shower is absolutely fine.

Location for us was superb as we came for a local wedding. The place is great, with everything you can need. The arrival gift box was a very nice touch and had all the main things with some lovely treats as well. Highly recommend.
We arrived on one of the hottest days of the year, so the top floor was boiling. But with the two fans that were there (very thoughtful) and opening all the windows and doors it cooled down.
