    Good value for money

    The house was good value for money. It lacked a few details but it was nicely decorated and the beds were comfortable. The street was quiet at night (we had no noisy neighbours as some reviews mention) and it is within easy walking distance of the centre. Communication with the host was really easy.

    I have to mention the area as this was something I missed when checking the reviews. I will preface my comments by acknowledging that we were travelling from Spain and so lacked a full understanding of the cultural “context”but the area felt unsafe to us, especially the first day. We stayed four days and warmed to the area a little, but I would not recommend walking around at night or to solo female travelers. My husband and I were accompanying our daughter, who was due to start uni in Nottingham. It was an unsettling start (in a new country and city) for her.

    Nice and affordable

    Nice and affordable, you have everything that you need, we cooked ourselves dinner and ate it outside in the little garden, it was nice one night stay
