An absolutely fine spot if you’re paying less than $150 per night.

Valle de Guadalupe is a special, unusual place.

Toilet was broken. Property seemed to need a fair amount of basic maintenance. Hot tubs weren’t kept warm, even on weekends, so you have to reserve them hours in advance. Room decor felt dated and a bit tacky. It would have been fine if this hadn’t been a $300 per night room that felt a lot like a Motel 6.

A hidden gem and we can’t wait to return!

The property was like a little oasis in the desert. It was extremely safe and we never felt uncomfortable or anything. It was beautifully decorated and the landscaping and view were gorgeous. The rooms were clean and we liked that each one was its own little cabin with a patio, it felt very luxurious. The staff was very nice and accommodating. The dogs that wander around are very friendly and seem well cared for. We loved that one if the tasting rooms was within walking distance of the hotel. The pool was lovely also.

The water pressure in the shower was not great, and when we asked for new towels we didn’t always get them.
