We loved the eclectic decor and the amazing views.

The views were amazing. Close to Hollywood. Loved the living space. The space was clean , well decorated and comfortable. It had everything we needed with a well stocked kitchen. It was nice to have a garage parking space and laundry available.

Stay here if you want a beautiful spot with spectacular views of the mountains, valley, sunrise and city lights,

We loved the views (!!!), the decor, how clean it was, the privacy.

A couple of small things - not a big deal, but we couldn’t find any plates and sometimes the a/c was cold but we couldn’t find a thermostat. Again, not a big deal just wanted to mention.

    Incredible house! Incredible view!

This house is amazing! Location-wise, it was perfect for seeing all the LA sites, but it also felt like you were so far out of the crazy, touristy city (even though you weren't that far!). And the view!! Just do it for the view! We spent every evening on the balcony just soaking it in. You can even see the Hollywood sign way in the distance. Breathtaking! This house totally made our trip! I loved the decor and the general "vibe" of the place...the little vintage touches, the charm, the huge bookcases/ceilings...loved it all! (Stop by the Canyon Country Store at the bottom of the hill...a Laurel Canyon historical landmark!). The house had everything we needed in the kitchenette...no oven, but there's a cooktop, microwave, and airfryer. It was so nice to be able to make meals (and save money!) and they even provided coffee pods, a water cooler with hot and cold water, and other little touches. The house is very clean, great water pressure in the shower, the bed is so comfortable, and there is a washer and dryer. The host is amazing...good/prompt communication as well as great advice! We did a hike they recommended and it was one of our favorite parts of our trip. It was just my teenage daughter and myself on the trip, and when we got there, my daughter said, "Good job, Mom." And if you have a teenage daughter...you know that this is the highest accolade one can ever hope to achieve!! ;)

I don't have anything negative to report...but maybe just a couple things to be aware of. The drive to the house feels a bit precarious at first...one lane neighborhood road meant for two lanes of traffic with switchbacks and blind curves. But by the second day we were used to it! You get to park in their garage too, so no danger in street parking. Also, there are people living in the home above you...so don't come to this house to party and be loud. It's a relaxing getaway spot. I never could really hear the people above us unless I was on the stairs down to the apartment. Also, this is a home with history and charm. If you're looking for state of the art, most up to date accommodations like a huge walk-in shower, go find an expensive hotel! I personally liked the house's history. It felt very LA. And honestly it had everything we needed! I am SUPER sensitive to smells and when you first walk in at the top of the stairs, it does smell a bit like an older home. But once you're down in the residence, I didn't smell anything and it was absolutely fine! (That's means a lot coming from me because I have a super spidey smelling sense...my daughter didn't smell anything ever.) So again, no real negatives in my opinion. This place is amazing!
