    It was perfect.

    This is such a special place to visit. Once you venture down the long driveway you arrive at a beautiful monastery overlooking the Mediterranean Sea and Monterosso. The grounds are so beautiful bringing out the child in me wanting to explore. Inside the place is so unique and special with a courtyard in the center. For visitors I would highly recommend having a car when staying here but we loved the remoteness and tranquillity of the location.

    Gorgeous property, welcoming staff, amazing experience away from hustle and bustle of Main Street. Breakfast each morning was delicious and so fresh. We had an amazing time on this property.

    Memorable.

    The location was spectacular, with views that were remarkable. It is on a hill overlooking the sea, and the grounds are set up to maximize the views. And at night you can see stars. Also, because of the location, it is extraordinarily quiet and peaceful. Also, it is a renovated, centuries old Hermitage, so quite charming. It is within walking distance of multiple trails, so is perfect for hikers. To get to Monterroso or other Cinque Terre towns, you’d take a cab.
