    Sehr gute Unterkunft in guter Lage von Basel

    Schöne Wohnung in guter Lage, mit ÖPNV oder auch zu Fuß vieles erreichbar.

    Leider war der Mülleimer in der Küche nicht geleert und absonderte daher etwas unangenehme Gerüche. Bitte zukünftig etwas sorgfältiger mit der Reinigung sein.

    A very spacious, comfortable and convenient apartment located within a Senior's residential home.

    We were very happy with our week long stay at Erlenmatt. The apartment is very airy and roomy, and very clean. We really appreciated the comfortable bed, the kitchenette, the large, light bathroom, the balcony and the coffeemaker! There is a large Co-op supermarket just 5 minutes walk away. The location of the apartment is a little out of the centre (and therefore a little quieter) but you can get there in just minutes, on a bus or tram, with the Basel card. The Basel card was an absolute boon and we used it multiple times every day - there are several stops very close to Erlenmatt (just minutes away). The buses and trams are super frequent. Be aware that the apartment backs on to a school, so there will be "school kid noise" at certain times on weekdays (none of which bothered us!).

    There were not a lot of eating places nearby, but a bus or tram could get you to 'food' areas very quickly. We would have appreciated an electric fan (we were there in the unnaturally hot August of 2026). A microwave and a clothes horse would have been useful too. As we were there for a week, it might be nice to have a "service" option, and perhaps clean towels after 4 days or so (although I realise I could use the laundry if required).

    Prima onderkomen.

    Het ruime, lichte appartement en balkon. Goede bedden en goed uitgeruste keuken. Rustige ligging.

    Het uitzicht vanaf het balkon; we keken tegen het dak van een mooi schoolgebouw aan.
