    Freezing

    When we arrived there was no heating on and no hot water. The outside temperature was 6C and the cottage was colder than that. Eventually someone arrived to put on the heating and light the wood burning stove. Even with that there was no way the cottage would be warm for at least 12 hours. We decided to leave and returned the key. Apart from the cold, there was nothing welcoming about the cottage. There was no welcoming pack or instructions. There was nothing comforting and the furniture and equipment were sparse.

    Lovely Place

    A lovely place in a lovely location that covered all the essentials very well. Bed, shower, wifi and breakfast all good.

    Peaceful countryside escape

    Lovely location on a hill above Aberfeldy. Extremely friendly staff. The bistro menu was very extensive and inventive. Rooms a bit dated and it's a shame the lounge with fireplace seemed to be being used as a storage area and wasn't available to guests. It would've been a nice cosy spot to sit.
