We had a lovely stay in Villasimius! The villa has a great location, not far from the town center and restaurants, but it’s situated on a steep hill, so keep that in mind if you plan to walk everywhere. The view from the top is worth it though — you get a beautiful panorama of the town. We especially enjoyed the cozy courtyard, where we had breakfast and lunch, and the balcony view from the bedroom, which was truly stunning. The bed was very comfortable, and there’s free parking nearby, which was super convenient. We mostly used a car, as it takes around 40 minutes on foot to reach the beaches.
As for things to note — the kitchen is spacious and well equipped, but not very ergonomic, so it took us a little while to find everything. The waste sorting and disposal system requires guests to bring recyclables to the local collection point themselves. I understand this is common across Sardinia, but it did take some time to figure out. There’s no small trash bin upstairs, and the shower is on the ground floor, which feels slightly impractical layout-wise. Overall, it’s a comfortable villa with great views and a peaceful atmosphere, perfect if you’re traveling by car and don’t mind a bit of a hill. Posizione non buona: salita ripidissima, difficoltà di parcheggio e distanza a piedi dal centro.

Bellissimo soggiorno in famiglia a Villasimius
La casa è tenuta benissimo e c'è veramente tutto l'occorrente per stare bene e comodi. Gli spazi sono distribuiti bene e assolutamente appropriati per una famiglia. La distanza dalle principali spiagge di Villasimius è di circa 10 minuti di macchina. Doppi servizi molto comodi e doccia all'esterno TOP. E' una casa fresca anche senza accendere i condizionatori e i ventilatori a soffito aiutano molto.
Unico problema sono i tanti gradini da dover fare per raggiungere la casa, un po' pesanti soprattutto quando si devono caricare e scaricare valige o spesa. Mancano parcheggi in zona, soprattutto in determinati momenti della giornata, come quando si rientra la sera. Non si può raggiungere il centro a piedi, a meno che non si fa una grande salita per rientrare a casa.
