    Absolutely wonderful holiday venue- loved all the 10 days spent there

    Loved the property- views were amazing- gorgeous sunsets - villa was very modern and extremely comfortable

    Only that there were limited drinking glasses with tumblers- food grater inadequate- we should have paid for a heated pool.

    The villa is spacious, clean, well laid out, and very well equipped, especially the kitchen. It was comfortable and worked very well for our stay.

    We were surprised by the lack of a few basic supplies, such as salt and coffee, which we would have expected considering the price of the stay. The main downside was the dampness. There was a noticeable musty smell inside the kitchen cupboards, as well as in the bedrooms when the air conditioning was running. This is something that should be addressed, as otherwise the villa was very comfortable and pleasant.

    It really is a sun filled villa but not for sensitive people or people afraid of bugs and critters :)

    Overall a pretty good stay, nice location for driving around the island, well equipped kitchen, good living room, awesome views, the bathrooms were good. The staff responded quickly and were helpful. Lots of cool madeiran wall lizards around the terrace. Melton’s kitchen nearby :)

    One of the bedrooms had a strong damp, moldy smell so we ended up not using that bedroom at all. Was not a deal breaker for us but might be for some people. The villa could use some touch up here and there. Cockroaches in the garage (dead or dying ones, so poison was/is used).
