  A wonderful family stay in a beautiful, convenient location that made my dad’s birthday memorable.

  e had a wonderful stay at this cottage for my dad’s birthday, with our family and three children. The cottage had everything we needed for a really comfortable stay, including a well-equipped kitchen for cooking and everything we needed to enjoy a BBQ. The location was fantastic - the harbour was around a 20–25 minute walk away and only a very quick drive, and there were plenty of lovely places nearby, including a bakery, convenience store (which also sold firewood), restaurants and cafés. It made everything really easy and convenient, especially with the kids. Everyone really enjoyed the stay and it ended up being such a memorable birthday for my dad. The hosts were easy to contact whenever we had a question or issue, and overall everything went smoothly. We’d happily stay again!

  We had also hoped to use the sauna during our stay, but unfortunately it was temporarily out of use as it needed some repairs. The host was very quick to address this and communicate with us, so it wasn’t a problem at all.

  Although it’s a good value for a large group, we probably won’t be coming back.

  Location is excellent, this house is only a 10 minute walk to the main harbour and cruise docks The host replies very quickly to messages and inquiries We received a nice welcome gift including wine, treats and coffee Beautiful yard with fire pit and lots of chairs

  The toilet is leaking water. After a few flushes, the floor would become wet. The bathroom vent is covered in dust. Unless you shower with the door open, the walls and mirror become wet after the first use. The floors were quite dirty. They appeared to have been vacuumed but had not been mopped for a while. We brought disposable slippers, and they became quite dirty within the first day. The dishwasher and sauna were out of service. There are only three bowls in the house. If you’re travelling with a larger group, some guests may have to eat their cereal from mugs. The curtain rods are broken. There are rodent bait stations throughout the house. The towels and bed linens were old and had an unpleasant smell. We tried washing and drying them, but they were still damp even after two cycles in the dryer.

  Will not return and not recommend to others unfortunately.

  Location is great.

  Old house, bedding linen, some blanket and towels look dirty. However the laundry washer is old and it doesn’t function as expected. Dish washer is out of order. It is an older cottage with old appliances and equipments inside were quite worn off.

  Horrendous.

  The accomodation was very dirty. Dishes in the cupboard had been washed, but residue remained.

  We liked that there was soaps and a thank you gift left not many hosts provide that this is the 2nd place in 13 years of renting cottages we've had that.

  The hole in the deck could have something blocking so no one trips and falls,
