  We liked the location and the staff were incredibly helpful and attentive. Immediately responsive and very kind and considerate. The location for us was great - it was away from the hustle and bustle of Athens but close enough to get to everywhere we needed.

  The low rating comes down to the cleanliness of the apartment, and the pictures being rather deceiving. It was a lot smaller than the pictures showed. There wasn’t enough toilet paper for the time we stayed, and there were no glasses to use to drink out of, so we needed to buy our own cups. There was hair all in the duvet cover when we used it, and the surfaces felt unclean.

  When I arrived, I felt like I was in a dirty flat rather than in holiday apartments.

  I stayed at these apartments twice this summer (June 13–21 and August 15–23). While the location (near center) and views are excellent, my most recent stay was extremely disappointing due to poor cleanliness. Upon arrival, there was a strong unpleasant odor in the apartment. The kitchen surfaces, cutlery, balcony table, and balcony floor had visible stains, and the apartment floors were dirty and covered with long black hairs. This was especially frustrating because I had specifically requested clean floors before arrival due to similar issues during previous stays at this property. This was not my first stay here, and I had experienced the same problem during previous visits. The apartment was not properly cleaned until the following day, meaning I spent my first night in an apartment that was not ready for guests. Even after the cleaning, the floors still contained dirt and hair, requiring a second cleaning request. Because the apartment had clearly not been cleaned properly before check-in, I believed I was entitled to a refund for the first night and requested assistance from Booking.com. Unfortunately, I have still received neither a response nor a refund for that first night. The checkout experience was also unpleasant. Although checkout was at 11:00 a.m., the housekeeper began knocking on my door at 10:50 a.m., which I found unprofessional and intrusive. While I did leave slightly late, at around 11:10 a.m., I was only 10 minutes beyond the checkout time. The housekeeper then insisted that I take away all garbage bags, empty bottles, old slippers, and some personal items that I had intentionally left behind, including sunscreen and face cream that I no longer needed. On arrival, the apartment had clearly not been properly cleaned, yet on departure I was being criticized about cleaning-related matters. The property benefits from a great location and modern appearance, but the cleanliness standards were far below expectations.
