Home from home.
The location is brilliant. Host friendly and super helpful, quick to respond, polite and friendly. The property is airy and modern and well equipped.
If I had to be super picky and look for something, I’d say it would be nice to have bedside tables in the main bedroom with maybe a lamp so you don’t need to get out of the super comfy bed to turn lights off. A hair dryer would be nice too.

Cute place in excellent location with free parking in city centre.
Excellent location for shops , Plymouth Hoe, theatre, restaurants. Free parking if driving (big bonus for city centre) Very thoughtful host (bag of ice cubes in freezer much appreciated), Cute and well kept property, suitably equipped for short stay. Good wifi.
The heat. I cannot recall August being this hot in the past years, so did not look for a place with air con. So that is not a reflection on the property but something Martin may want to consider for the future.

Disappointing
The location, it's very close to The Hoe.
There was an issue with the hot water and three of us were there for two nights and we were unable to have showers or wash up (we had to use the kettle). We reported the issue on the first night, the owner was hard to contact, then they remotely boosted the boiler, which might have worked for a few hours whilst we were out, and then went down again. The owner wasn't interested. I have been using Booking.com for many years and I have never had an experience like this. If you don't mind not having any hot water, then you will likely enjoy your stay as it's a nice property. Also, there was another car parked in our 2nd space - luckily we didn't need it - but it's worth noting if you think 2 spaces are available.

Lovely weekend - wish we could've stayed longer.
Lovely character house in a really good location. Very easy walk to the Hoe, the Barbican & the shops but also great to have 2 parking spaces as we had visiting local family. Well equipped kitchen, very comfy beds & spotlessly clean. Hope it's available for our next trip!
