    A magical place and my first Northern Lights!

    Everything was exceptional at Eyjar Fishing Lodge. The remote location is a dream, and the easy, autonomous check-in is a huge plus. The decor of the spaces is beautiful, and the service from the owners is top-notch. I loved the wonderful detail of having coffee, cookies, and sweets always at my disposal. The breakfast was incredibly fresh and spectacular. Furthermore, the location gave me a magical moment: this is where I saw my very first Northern Lights in Iceland! A perfect stay.

    Absolutely nothing, everything exceeded my expectations.

    This place was all we could ask for, absolutely perfect.

    Simple instructions for check-in. Plenty of space to spread our stuff out and we had a lot of stuff. This place is away from any congestion, no noise. Great shower, easy parking and a great breakfast. Don't let the words "fishing lodge" scare you away. Owners were terrific. They helped us with info about our upcoming day, where to go, what we shouldn't miss. This is like staying at your friends house, worry free.

    I wouldn't change anything. Clean, spacious, quiet, what more could you ask for. Don't hesitate about staying here.
