    It's a really nice place for a couple or small family visiting the Vatican and historical centre.

    The location's excellent; 5 minutes walk to St Peter's and Saint Angelo and just around 15 minutes walk to all the main historical sites you're here to see. It's on one of Rome's main roads so it's easy to find when you get lost...as everyone does. Even though it's on a main road it's 5 floors up (in a lift) and so it's quiet.

    Just the "arrival" routine is a little odd. You need to call a mobile to get instructions. As we'd just come from the airport we had no wifi and had to ask kind passers by to call for us. A day later when returning we found a family in the same prediciment unable to gain access. Lots of hotels and B&Bs in Italy don't "look" as we'd expect them to in the UK or the States, just a heads up.
