    Lovely cosy stay in the Derbyshire Dales for a weekend.

    Flat was in a perfect location - just a short walk from Matlock centre. The flat was warm and comfortable with beautiful views. Suited my husband and I and our dog perfectly for a weekend getaway. We parked right outside the front door - couldn't have been better for unloading and loading! Walked to Matlock Bath - great base for lots of walks. Recommend both pubs close by we went to the Sycamore Inn for Food and the Thorn Tree In for a drink. Lovely (dog) friendly welcome in both establishments.

    No biggie but there was no corksrew!! And of course, the bottle of wine I grabbed to take with us had a cork rather than a screw top - we just went and picked up a bottle locally :-)

    Great location with a great view at very good price.

    Lovely flat. Great location (yes you do need to be prepared for the hill on the way back) we have done a lot steeper. Has everything you need. I know a few people have commented negatively about the size of the bedroom, you can clearly see the size in the pics. It does have quite a bit of space at the end of the bed including a wardrobe and chest of drawers. Perfectly adequate for 2 people. Also people have commented on the lack of windows. It’s an internal flat and fans are provided so I don’t see what the problem is. It will be cosy in the colder months that’s for sure. We were able to park right outside the front door, can’t get easier than that. Would definitely use again.

    Could do with a frying pan as well as the griddle pan. Change the air freshener, we thought someone had had a curry til we realised it was the air freshener in the bathroom. Awful smell.

    Great location for Matlock town. Lovely view. Everything worked. Helpful information and communication before arrival. Accommodation was as described in the listing

    Maybe a bit more attention to details would be good., a corkscrew would be useful as would a brush to go with the dustpan, there's a leak under the sink and it's very grubby in there. A load of spilt sugar fell on me when I used one of the kitchen wall cupboards. Some old food left in fridge and only 3 tea bags in the tea caddy.

    The location was good and all amenities were local (down the hill). The key pad was convenient

    The location was good.

    Their was no hand towel in the kitchen or tea towels so was unable to dry dishes or hands.
