    Fairfield properties are typically more functional. This location needs some attention.

    Excellent New England seacoast location. Staff was friendly enough.

    AC room unit did not work properly. Room faces car dealership's service center. Lots of repair noise. Laundry facility washer was out of commission (and I chose this location, in part, because it includes guest laundry). The fitness center elliptical machine squeaked so loudly, I switched to a treadmill. And the front desk clerk initially assigned me to an occupied room. I keyed in and found a person sleeping in my assigned room (who apparently did not wake up). The clerk was apologetic. And I am not sure the mishap was her fault. But unpleasant, either way. Finally, I was on the second floor. There was a freight train sounding noise each morning from the 3rd floor. I walked upstairs expecting to find a construction zone. But just an empty hallway. Bizarre.
