    Grade of D!

Because we needed to visit the USAFA several times during our stay, this hotel's location was ideal. The staff was consistently polite, helpful, and professional, which we appreciated. Our parking was free. While the room was not dirty, it did not feel particularly clean. The bed was very comfortable, but the overall condition of the room was disappointing. The breakfast selection was very limited, and I would recommend offering more daily options for guests with dairy allergies. One night, several intoxicated guests were loud and disruptive around 2:45 a.m., which made it difficult to sleep. I have stayed at many Marriott properties, and unfortunately, this one did not meet my expectations. Other family members staying at the hotel at the same time reported that their room had a strong, unpleasant odor. We will be returning to the area in the future, but we will not be staying at this hotel again. Based on our experience, I cannot recommend this property.

    Fine

I will start by noting that the person who checked us in was great. Very friendly and prompt. We have reasonable expectations for a hotel of this grade and hotels in this class can vary. That being said, this hotel was functional. It wasn't dirty but didn't feel particularly clean. The TV in the room was the size of a large computer monitor. It felt tired and depressing. There are better Marriott properties out there.

    Clean. Comfortable. Courteous Employees

Great people working the desk. Breakfast was very sparse, especially considering the cost of the room.

    Not Up to Marriott Standards

As a Lifetime Titanium Bonvoy member, I have been in many different types of Marriott properties all over the world. Generally, I find the properties to be well maintained. Not this one. Here is my take on the Fairfield on Commerce Center Drive north of the city. Pros: It is inexpensive Staff seemed to be pleasant enough Cons: Poorly maintained Houskeeping is very infrequent. We had one full service in 7 days. No hot breakfast offered due to "circumstances beyond our control". For a week. Bed is very thin and squeaks when you roll over. The room has a musty smell like damp laundry. Overall: If you are looking for a place to crash on the cheap, this may work for you. If you are expecting a standard Marriott Fairfield experience, you may wish to look elsewhere.
