    Disappointed - not 5* service but 6* price

    Great location and lovely room (Sea View King suite)

    Noisy around pool and on balcony due to works being carried out - there should have been a roof over the works to create soundproofing; too many people for such small amenities (breakfast and sea-view pool are too crowded; beach club is not really of the standard expected for a 5* hotel (no drinks service at loungers). There was a fire alarm (false alarm) in the night when we were there and this was dealt with very badly; no apology for poor communication. The following evening there was a power cut - again no method for communicating what was happening - very worrying for a hotel so big especially as we were on the 12th floor. Housekeeping was inconsistent - basic things like teacups/glasses not replaced - not good enough for "Royal Service" also nobody ever answered the phone if reception/room service was called.
