    Pleasant and peaceful stay. Enjoyed the break from the busy day to day activities.

    Comfortable, spacious and clean. Great value for money. Loft is a great experience for kids, it’s like having a tree house inside a safe environment. Great facilities within the property. Beautiful atmosphere and overall layout.

    Roof line is low & I bumped my head getting into the property from the back door. Stair way to the loft is also something to look out for as you move around, seems like lots of guests bumped into it as well, evidence of scratches on the floor section. Kitchen is tiny offering very little space to prepare meals. Shower could do with shelves for soap etc. Would also be nice if the shower head could swivel. Toilet in en-suite is not ergonomically friendly, too close to the wall causing the toilet paper holder to be awkwardly positioned. I brought my Dad (aged 79) along & so the beds were a bit too high for the elderly. Stairs are fine but become a challenge for the elders, maybe it’s a point to mention on the bookings that the property does include steps and recommend other options for the elderly.

    Do not recommend unit 161.

    Upon arrival we were informed of a R3,000 holding deposit that would be refunded in 30 days. This information was not informed to us at any stage of booking and was a non-contractual demand for payment, on unreasonable terms. The manager connected me to the owner who informed me that (i) he didn't want anyone there who couldn't afford R3,000; and (ii) if I didn't like it, he would refund me and I could pack my bags and be on my way. With three children at 6pm with a 3 day holiday planned, obviously I had to go ahead and pay, Further, the stove kept tripping (pain); a mop and bucket were left at the front door (unsightly); and a vacuum under the braai (unsightly). The non privately owned units only charge a R500 deposit and have better service.
