  nothing at the property was enjoyable or up to standard

  STOP read this review. DO NOT STAY at this property. This man uses video surveillance on the whole of the property that is outside the allowed legal surveillance allowed. Many of the cameras are directly aimed at bedroom windows. I am not the only person that has raised this issue, please take the time to read the reviews left previously and this will affirm my mentioned concerns. I am sure that the owner will viciously attack this review as he has done with all previous bad reviews, but I implore to read carefully and you will very quickly see a pattern form in his reviews. The over top surveillance is creepy, and very disturbing, especially if you have children please protect them and do not book this property. He will try and justify his actions as legal, but how is it safe that the person undertaking the surveillance is also the person who deems it legal. We submitted a police report about his , please protect, yourself. Aside from this above disturbing issues, the house was dirty. When reaching for items off shelves they were covered in a heavy thick layer of grime. The space has an uncomfortable lived in feel, as you share the panty with mens incontinence pads, and cannot find a drawer in the bathroom for you items that is not filled with used tooth floss picks. Uncomfortable signs left all around the house, with severe rules laid out about using items in the house. Not relaxing at all. If you have a holiday house, allow guest to use the house without strict rules in place. DO not bring pets!. We brough our dog, which we declared very early as having intentions on bringing. We were than lugged with a extra pet fee, that apparently was not covered in our booking, and than when a refund was sought, he claimed that there was dog poo throughout the yard and denied a refund. This was not true. We were charged fees for using the firewood for one night when we were not given the opportunity to replace the wood as intended with wood from Bunnings.

  Great location and beautiful lodge for exploring the Blue Mountains! The hosts were very helpful.

  Great Location, quiet surrounding with good backyard ( good for travelers with Pet), aesthetically decorated. If someone likes cooking during holiday trip, this place is highly recommended. There are plenty of books, board games and great Vinyl records which one can enjoy

  Very cosy feel in the lodge, felt at home once i was settled in

  Main bed was a bit hard and uncomfortable, but was ok for a few nights.
