  Accommodation with false offer

  Apartment with basic facilities in an area with many leisure options.

  The apartment was one of the more expensive offers in the area, but it has a lot of shortcomings. The cleanliness of the apartment is rather average - generally tidy, however, when looking closely at the many places that are forgotten, e.g. probably no one has ever cleaned the balcony. Completely tragic wifi - the owner does not have his own router and the only connection is via wifi for the whole house - when the whole areal is more occupied, the phone often did not even load the page. Unpleasant smell of sewage in the bathroom - especially (illogically) after turning on the fan, which starts automatically. Upon arrival, we reported water leaking directly from the toilet bowl onto the floor (according to previous reviews, we were not the first) - the owner was surprised and his solution was "put a towel on the floor under it" - lucky the one who gets it next time to wipe it. However, the biggest problem we had was the owner's incorrect behavior regarding the offer - among the photos of the apartment there was information about the ActiveCard Bayerwald (we have a printscreent with that). Even when booking, we were informed that we would receive a visitor card. We didn't get anything, it wasn't even in the apartment. After urging, the owner finally sent us the card, but to our surprise it wasn't an ActiveCard, but a Guti card for free traveling with bus. Owner later admitted that he doesn't have an ActiveCard and never had one, and it was just "advertising" from him. We chose the accommodation for the ActiveCard option with lots of options in the close and wider area and accepted a higher price of accomodation compared to the others in the area. In the end, we only paid a higher price and paid hundreds of euros extra for family attractions. If you want the best value/price ratio from accommodation combined with other activities under the ActiveCard - choose a different apartment.

  Leider deutlich enttäuscht

  Die Unterkunft ist grundsätzlich schön und bietet ausreichend Platz für eine Familie. Die Lage ist schön und bietet viele Möglichkeiten für Ausflüge in der Umgebung. Die Unterkunft hat Potenzial für einen schönen Familienurlaub.

  Bereits bei der Ankunft mussten wir wegen einer Wasserleckage an der Toilette nachfragen. Diese haben wir auch fotografisch dokumentiert. Ein Wäscheständer fehlte, auch hierzu haben wir direkt bei der Ankunft nachgefragt. Besonders enttäuschend war die Bayerwald aktivCARD. In der Booking.com-Darstellung stand ausdrücklich: „Bei Ankunft erhalten Sie bei uns die aktivCARD Bayerischer Wald!“ Wir haben uns darauf verlassen und direkt bei der Ankunft danach gefragt. Laut Vermieter nimmt die Unterkunft jedoch gar nicht an der Aktion teil. Das entsprechende Foto wurde inzwischen aus der Darstellung entfernt. Einen Screenshot der ursprünglichen Darstellung haben wir glücklicherweise gesichert. Am letzten Nachmittag kam es beim Staubsaugen zu einem Stromausfall. Da wir mit drei Kindern dort waren und bereits mehrere Probleme aufgetreten waren, war dies letztlich der Grund, weshalb wir einen Tag früher abgereist sind. Enttäuschend war für uns vor allem der anschließende Umgang mit unserer Beschwerde. Wir hatten auf eine faire und unkomplizierte Lösung gehofft, konnten mit dem Vermieter jedoch keine Einigung erzielen. Fazit: Die Unterkunft selbst hat Potenzial, aber die verschiedenen Probleme während unseres Aufenthalts und insbesondere der Umgang mit unserer Reklamation haben den Gesamteindruck leider deutlich getrübt. Für uns daher keine erneute Buchung.
