A good value option for an overnight stay in Bournemouth.

The property was very good value for a one night stop over. The prosecco and chocolates were a nice touch.

It does say that the property sleeps 6 adults but the single beds are quite small and not well suited to my sons who are both over 6 feet. Also, while the other bed linens and towels were clean the sofa bed sheets weren’t.

Unfortunately, our stay was extremely disappointing and, based on our experience, I would not recommend this property. I

Nice balcony catching early evening sun. Small beach with playground and crabbing within walking distance. Prosecco and chocolates on arrival was a nice added touch.

The biggest issue was that one of the toilets was broken and unusable for the entirety of our stay. We reported this to the owner, who initially responded and assured us that someone would come to repair it. Nobody attended, the toilet was never fixed, and our subsequent messages were ignored. Thankfully, there was another toilet available, but an essential facility being out of use for the entire stay is simply not acceptable. On arrival, we found the main bedroom sheets were dirty. They were replaced the following day, which we appreciated. More generally, we found the overall standard of cleanliness throughout the accommodation to be poor. The rooms were also extremely small, much smaller than we had anticipated, which made the accommodation feel cramped. There were numerous other problems. The internet and TV were intermittent and unavailable for much of our stay, the oven wasn’t working and there were no instructions provided, and the BBQ was in such a poor state of repair that we did not feel it was safe to use. We also found two cockroaches inside the property. Another important point for anyone considering booking is the additional cost of the entertainment/facilities passes, which we found to be very expensive. We also felt the listing gave a misleading impression regarding the infinity pool, which appears to be one of the standout features of the property. In reality, access to the pool and other resort facilities requires purchasing additional passes, so these facilities are not simply included with your accommodation. This is something we wish had been much clearer before booking. We understand that things can occasionally go wrong with holiday accommodation, but what matters is how those problems are dealt with. We gave the owner the opportunity to resolve the issues while we were there. Although there was initially some communication, this stopped and the main problem was left unresolved for the duration of our stay.

    Has potential but...

The caravan was very well located, walking distance to the private beach and not too far from the main area. The location in general was perfect. The caravan was very spacious, 1 toilet room, 1 bathroom and 3 rooms, the kitchen/lounge was great and the outside was great to seat and chill too. The chocolate and prosseco was a nice touch.

Cleaning was not great, there was dust and dirt in the kitchen, the oven has not been clean for a while and the fridge had so much ice build up that wasn't working properly. I contacted the host, as we could not conect the internet, and they advised that the cleaner would pop in, but never did. We ended up not chasing as we were in and out anyway. The communication was quite poor, with me having to chase the host, this meant that all activities in the park were fully booked as i didnt know why needed a code to book and that this needed to be done in advance, neither did the host explain until I asked.

My two kids made the most of their holiday. They called it ‘our floating holiday house.’

Tiny little kitchen island and the bright living room.

    Everything was good.
