    Good apartment location, but not the type of host I would want to engage with on a holiday

    Good location, close to Rialto Mercato. The apartment was clean and in a quiet neighbourhood.

    Did not have a good experience with the host. I think they have forgotten they are in the hospitality industry. Was staying there for 2 nights with family (wife, infant son, parents) and had planned a bunch of activities and given our dietary restrictions, we had multiple meals at home. Given there was no trash collection on Sunday, I had to leave it back (this is after trying a lot, including checking at usual trash collection points on shores, nearby hotels etc.) in the apartment. I told them I was apologetic about it, but the host multiple times used words like they cannot 'tolerate' more than 1-2 trash bags (we had 5-6 as i had seggregated all items by paper/plastic/general). After I told them, you can keep the deposit, but this type of language isn't good, again intentionally used the same tolerated language trying to tell me he knows how much trash is generated in a day and I should have cleared some trash at the end of first night as well (felt unnecessary and he was just trying to rub it in). Not the type of interaction I would want to have on a holiday. Even on matters around luggage storage or late check out request, felt was not flexible. In terms of facilities, took a fair amount of time to get hot water in the showers. We tried working the heaters for our son for sometime, but could not make it work.

    Appartement bien placé et propre

    Appartement spacieux, très bien placé pour visiter la ville et pas loin de la gare. Les lits étaient confortables et l'appartement très propre!! Nous n'avons pas utilisé la cuisine. Les fenêtres sont mal isolées, ce qui en automne ne pose pas de problème mais en été il doit faire chaud. Il y avait des climatiseurs portables dans l'appartement. Attention également aux moustiques. En résumé un appartement qui fait le job et vraiment très propre.

    Peu de pression dans une des 2 douches. Et il n'y a pas de lave-linge alors que c'était noté dans le descriptif de l'appartement.

    Great place to stay at a reasonable price for Venice. THe check in was smooth- we were met at the apartment by Venice Neighbours, who were friendly and gave some helpful advice. Nice and big apartment, with a reasonable sized kitchen. The A/C units were effective (and necessary). Great location not far from the Rialto, and lots of restaurants nearby. Definitely recommended (particularly for families- we have a 5 and 2 year old and this was perfect for them).
