The condition of the rooms have nothing to do with the photos uploaded here. According to the manager they were taken 1-2 years ago but I cannot believe a place can turn so run-down in such short time. It was small, dirty with damaged walls and furniture. Windows do not close properly so it is as loud as sleeping on the street accompanied by mosquitoes. We didn’t want to cancel immediately as they also booked a cruise and a day trip for us but staying there 1 night changed our mind. After requesting a refund for the rest of the stay they tought the only reason was the door lock which broke in the morning and did not understand or accept that I wanted to leave as their place is misadvertised. The manager asked us to cancel through booking.com but only accepted when I choose it was because of me and did not let us input the real reason. He also claimed that our standards are too high as foreigners. Yes my standards are higher than what he provided but if the place is advertised as it is in reality I would not have booked at all. Problem is false advertisement and I don’t think he got this point at all. Have to admit after more than an hour of discussing this they refunded for rest of the time. There are much better hotels in walking distance and cost difference is only 100K VND/night or even less. I recommend avoiding this place. Check the reviews, always a bunch of 10 without description after one bad review.
