The positives are the private parking, the owner was very helpful and even accommodated us a little earlier than the scheduled check-in time. The view is incredible, and the house is really spacious. However, that’s probably where the positives end
I don’t want to be harsh, but we expected much more from the accommodation. Upon arrival, there was already a musty smell. The house is old, and the furniture is even older. The kitchen is so outdated that even my great-grandmother wouldn’t be proud of it. There is air conditioning in the house, but only on the ground floor. No matter what you do, you simply cannot get the cool air upstairs into the bedrooms, and the upper floor is unbearably hot. The mattresses were, in our opinion, of insufficient quality — too soft. I’m glad we only stayed for a short time; otherwise, my back would have been in serious trouble. The bathrooms are very outdated and really deserve a complete renovation. The price-to-quality ratio is completely unreasonable if the house remains without renovation. I genuinely don’t understand the high ratings. This is not meant as an insult to the owner, who seemed very friendly and helpful. I am reviewing the house itself. For us, the accommodation was inadequate, and we definitely do not recommend it.
