    just what I needed as a solo walker in a remote area

    Location. Obliging hosts. comfortable and warm on a stormy night. I arrived early (I was on a long charity walk and it is very hard to judge timings unlike being in a car) but John was on site and didnt make it an issue. I felt appreciated throughout my visit. The facility of having a pizza supper provided was a major bonus in this remote location. John was proud of his business and rightly so.

    I was pretty pleased with everything.

    I was told that I would get a 50% refund because the room wasn't ready on arrival. I did not get it!

    The view

    The Keys where not where I was told they would be, and the room was not prepared. We had to wait for over an hour to get in The owner informed us that booking.com had not informed them that we were coming and that he would give us a 50% refund.

    Der Ausblick von der Unterkunft war wunderbar. Die Möglichkeit, Pizza direkt in die cabin zu bestellen, haben wir genutzt und wurden seeehr freundlich beliefert.😊

    What's not to like?

    What a view from the pod, OMG! Nice little walks to the harbour and Dunbeath Broch, a 2000 yr old fort. Oh, and home baked pizza to your pod door.
