  -location in Carvoeiro, which is a beautiful seaside town with a great broadwalk along the cliff. The apartment was close enough to the beach and the centre to walk there comfortably, but also far enough not to have to put up with the noise of the night life, -a kind of ocean view, you do see the ocean in the background, but at the same time you see garbage containers in the foreground, six or seven of them -a nice looking living room with comfortable sofas and a dining table, which can be an advantage if someone plans to cook and have meals there, -a well equipped kitchen with lots of pots and pans, crockery, cutlery, a toaster and a washing machine

  -it's not a two-bedroom apartment. It's a one-bedroom apartment with a luggage storage. That's what we used the "second bedroom" for. It was a very small room, half of which was occupied by a bunk bed (not a word was mentioned about it in the offer and not a single picture showed it), which was too short for both my adult children (I clearly put in the search "3 adults, no kids"). Even if it wasn't too short for someone, you can't sleep there because the "room" has neither a window nor air conditioning (I've attached the pictures of this "bedroom"), -the apartment stinks; when you enter it, the odour is the first thing that "welcomes" you. The most stinky place is the bathroom. -the apartment is very dark; in the pictures uploaded on booking.com website, you see a beautiful light apartment; I don't know when or how this effect was achieved. -there are flies and mosquitos; so many that it's even mentioned in the instruction manual to keep the balcony door closed, however, not a word was mentioned in the offer, so we came unprepared and the device that was put in one of the sockets was empty and did no job whatsoever, -it's noisy in the morning because of garbage trucks coming and construction work in the neighborhood, -the lock in the front door - turning the key isn't enough - you must pull the door towards yourself hard for it to get locked or open, -no dishwasher, -for the whole week no one came to at least change the towels once or to provide toilet paper or paper towels for the kitchen, not to mention cleaning the place.

  Appartement qui a beaucoup de potentiel, mais qui nous a malheureusement déçu.

  Tranquille à l’arrière. Grand appartement avec salon et salle à manger confortables. Cuisine fonctionnelle, dans l’ensemble. Équipements pour faire du lavage. Espaces de rangement. Proximité du village et des restaurants. *** Petit patio agréable avec vue sur la mer.

  Infestation de petites fourmis dans la salle de bain! Manque d’espace et d’accessoires de base dans la salle de bain: peu de papier de toilette et impossible d’en obtenir pour répondre à nos besoins (on nous dit d’en acheter!), il n’y avait pas de tapis de bain à l’arrivée, absence de porte dans la douche, avec eau qui mouille tout. Très peu de pression d’eau dans la douche. On nous demande de ne pas jeter le papier de toilette dans la toilette, mais on nous offre seulement une mini poubelle pour jeter ce papier souillé 😮). Odeurs désagréables dans la salle de bain. Lit spacieux, mais inconfortable. Frigo arrêté à notre arrivée, avec dégât d’eau (réglé dans la demi-heure qui a suivi).
