    Wonderful place just not for walking pilgrims with tired legs

    Wonderful property, food and staff. Scenery is stunning and rooms have rustic charm

    It is split across two sites so where the location/restaurant is from booking.com is not where the reception/accommodation is that’s another 1.5km. Big warning is do not walk from the pilgrim trail, it is 4.5 km off the path and up hill at the end of a day. My mistake but a warning for other pilgrims.

    Camere molto grandi; mancava qualche comfort in più come qualche cuscino e un bollitore con un piccolo set di cortesia acqua/te/nescafe. Colazione un po minimal.

    The location in the Tuscan countryside and the scenery surrounding the property.

    The experience did not live up to our expectations or justify the price paid. The facilities also fall short of what is advertised. The property offers very poor value for money. Breakfast was a huge disappointment. Booking.com describes it as exceptional, but it was, without exaggeration, the worst breakfast we have had during our trip through Italy and compared to many other accommodations we have stayed at. The selection is extremely limited, and they don’t even have a toaster. It is nowhere near what you would expect from a breakfast advertised as exceptional.
