We stayed for 4 nights, and unfortunately, it wasn't a pleasant experience. Not recommended.
• Great location – just a 5-minute walk to the beach and the old town. Public parking is available 24/7, and the area is well connected to other parts of Madeira. • A relatively quiet neighbourhood.
A shopfront-style room – one entire wall is made of glass and covered with thick blinds. Neighbours frequently walk right past the windows along what is referred to as a balcony, but is essentially just a walkway providing access to nearby apartments. There is absolutely no privacy: either you keep the blinds closed and block out all natural light, or leave them open and feel like you're sitting in a shop window. • An unpleasant smell, probably caused by faulty bathroom plumbing. • A fridge with a freezer compartment completely taken over by a solid block of ice. • A wardrobe with no doors. • A tiny, poorly equipped kitchen with the cheapest utensils and an old, dirty dishcloth. • A filthy, dust-covered electric fan in the corner that we were honestly afraid to switch on. • Cockroaches crawling around the apartment – killed four of them during our stay.

Séjour magnifique, très facile sur le mode des déplacements, proximité de Machico /aéroport
J'ai adoré la localisation: lieu, accès plage, centre ville, arrêt bus, la vue était superbe et du studio on entendait l'océan !
Le couchage, matelas un peu dur et le bruit des travaux dans les rues ( réfection assainissement exceptionnel en cette période)

Convenient & charming home base
Great location, with convenient free parking lot across the street, very accessible to the highway on the edge of town — which makes for a not great first impression but is actually very convenient and quiet once you get oriented. Main square is <5 mins walk. Included a fan which was comfortable for sleeping. Views were gorgeous and nice to be able to open the huge window. Kitchen had everything we needed. Shower got warm quickly. Machico was a great launching point to everything on the east side of the island.
Some construction was happening during our stay (hard to predict; not the property’s fault). Address was incorrect so be sure to follow the instructions from the host (which were very clear & easy to follow). We would stay here again.
