    No info about bed linen and towels not included, owner takes zero responsibility .

    Nice location

    I booked a 1 night stay (3 adults, 2 kids) on 7th of July for 8th and was informed on 8th 16:00 that bed linen and towels are not included and that we can order them 2 days ahead (?!) for 20€ per person. None of this info was available on booking, otherwise I wouldn't have booked the accomodation, we were on a southbound trip. I immediately contacted the owner and tried to find the solution since we were three hours away. The owner suggested we buy bed linen at a supermarket. We arrived at the accomodation 19:00 and I had to drive into Regen to try and find a an open store so we can buy bed linen. All the while the owner showed zero understanding and claimed it's my problem and that the info is available on booking, which turned out not to be the case for if you were using Booking in English, it was only available if your site language is German. After I pointed that out to the owner, the answer was that it's Booking fault and not theirs. I am still in shock as to how anyone can be so entirely devoid of empathy and even the most basic hospitality instincts, not to mention refusing to take responsibility for their own accomodation listing. Finally, I usually let these things fly, but accomodation was dusty and not cleaned properly, grass hasn't been cut in weeks, weeds were growing through the deck and the property looked half-abandoned, finally only one toilet paper roll was provided for two toilets. Cardboard beds are a matter of taste I guess, but I wonder how much dust was underneath them.
