    Sehr schöne und gemütliche FeWo. Für 2 Personen ideal, sehr gut ausgestattet. Die Eigentümerin ist super lieb und macht es einem leicht sich sofort wohl und willkommen zu fühlen. Der Ort Steinberg ist ein Bergsteigerdorf, etwas abgelegen, dadurch aber sehr ruhige Lage. Tolle Wandermöglichkeiten sogar direkt von Steinberg aus. Wir hatten eine wunderschöne und erholsame Zeit!

    Im Sommer ist Wandern angsagt, viel mehr gibt's in Steinberg/Rofan nicht. (Im Winter kommt dann noch Langlaufen dazu, wenn der Schnee mal mitspielt.) Das Café-Restaurant DORFHAUS möcht ich mit sseiner Gastlichkeit besonders hervorheben: Dort gab's Gastfreundlichkeit pur, und wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt.

    Neben jeder Ortstafel findet sich das Zusatzschild "Bergsteigerdorf", was defiitiv nur ein Marketing-Scnäh ist. Denn Bergsteiger hab ich weder im weitläufigen Dorf noch auf den umgebenden Bergen gesehen. Stattdessen fand ich auf beinah jeder freien Parkfläche einen deutlichen Hinweis auf den Parkautomaten: 3 EUR/ 3 h (wenn ich mich recht erinner), 6 EUR ganztägig. Abgesehen vom DORFHAUS (Di+Mi sind Ruhetage) und im Gemeindeamt gab es im Tal keine Möglichkeit einer Einkehr (mit KLO), denn das WALDHÄUSL ist - bis auf Widerruf - geschlossen.
