    Good location, characterful, comfortable.

    Clean, comfortable and very spacious. We were on the ground floor which had a nice balcony under cover which was useful for relaxing outside and drying any washing. A clothes drying stand was available. There was also a nice garden area at the back with table and chairs, with a small river behind it. Beds were comfortable. It was a short walk into the town centre maybe 10 minutes. We were on a motorcycle tour and the location was very good for us in the Harz region. It was 25 minutes walk to the castle which was impressive and good value. If you have a tourist tax token it is free, as are the buses.

    My brother in law said the fire alarm went off at night for at least 10 minutes although I didn't hear it 😂.
